Mónica Silveira Maia, Ph.D. in Psychology by the University of Porto (2012). She is Adjunct Professor in the Porto Polytechnic School of Education. Since 2010, she has been involved in several national and international projects in the field of inclusive educational practices and policies; and in the study of disabilities. Particularly dedicated to the environment enablement, her scientific work is focused on the study of functioning profiles and on the systematization of environmental factors that may facilitate the social participation and inclusion of children and youth with additional support needs.
