I am a Brazilian researcher in Special Education and Inclusive Mathematics Education. My academic work focuses on teacher education and pedagogical decision-making for students with disabilities, particularly in mathematics instruction. I also work at the intersection of inclusion, neurodiversity, and evidence-based educational practices.

BIO

Holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a PhD in Special Education from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), with a Master's degree in the same area and institution. Completed postdoctoral research in Special Education funded by CAPES and CNPq. Acts as an ad hoc reviewer for national and international scientific journals and has teaching experience in higher education, having taught courses in the Bachelor's programs in Special Education and Pedagogy at UFSCar, including work in the context of Emergency Distance Education. Conducts research in the area of ​​Special Education, with an emphasis on teaching mathematics to students with disabilities, especially Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and Visual Impairment. Author of an international book published by Springer Nature, forthcoming. Currently a Postdoctoral Fellow of the Institutional Postdoctoral Program (PIPD/CAPES), linked to the Postgraduate Program in Special Education at UFSCar.

He has published 22 scientific articles in national and international journals (England, Spain, and Chile), four books, and 15 book chapters. He has 145 citations on Google Scholar. He has teaching experience in undergraduate courses in Special Education and Pedagogy. He has teaching experience in higher education, having taught courses in undergraduate programs in Special Education and Pedagogy at UFSCar. He is the author of an international book published by Springer Nature, currently in press.
