Ana Cristina Vasconcelos Pereira de Macedo completed her Ph.D. in Portuguese Studies in 2015 at the University of the Azores, a Master's degree in Modern and Contemporary Portuguese Literature in 2004 at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto, and a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature in 2000 at the Fernando Pessoa University. She holds the position of Associate Professor at the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto. She has authored 10 articles in specialized journals, contributed to 23 book chapters, authored 1 book, and translated two novels into Spanish. She serves as a collaborating researcher in one international and two national projects. Her academic focus spans the fields of Humanities, Languages, Literatures and Cultures, Literary Theory, and Linguistic and Literary Education. She has collaborated with 9 colleagues in co-authoring scientific works. Her professional experience includes being a member of the Monitoring Committee for the Portuguese Exams of the NORTH NETWORK at P. PORTO, serving as the President of the Jury for Specific Portuguese Exams for Admission of Individuals over 23 Years, and acting as the President of the jury for the preparation, administration, and evaluation of Portuguese exams for access to Professional Master's degrees at the School of Education and the ESE / ESMAE Master's programs at the Polytechnic Institute of Porto.
